Where Can I Eat Healthy On Campus

Eating healthy is tough, not to mention expensive. Personally, I try my best to eat healthy, but when I have to choose between chicken tenders or a salad, the decision is pretty easy. (chicken tenders, obvi). Eating healthy, however, does not have to be boring. From decorative chicken salads to acai bowls, eating healthy can taste (and look) good. Here are 5 places to eat on and near campus when you’re thinking about a third cheat day.


  1. CoreLife Eatery

Located in Lafayette, CoreLife Eatery is one of their newest healthy food chains. Their motto, “Healthy Never Tasted So Good,” holds true, just take a look at the reviews on their website. Their menu caters to those who are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or those who are just looking for a healthy meal. The menu consists of a wide variety of healthy bowls, such as green, grain, rice, and broth bowls, to power plates consisting of protein and vegetables.

  1. Freshii

Just like the name sounds, the food served at Freshii tastes and looks fresh. Similar to CoreLife, Freshii also offers bowls consisting of different combinations of rice, vegetables, and sauces. In the mood for something cool? Try one of their delicious smoothies or a cup of frozen yogurt. With their customizable meals, you can create a meal just how you like it!

  1. Boiler Fit Nutrition

Known as an herbalife nutrition club, Boiler Fit is perfect recovery after a intense gains sesh. Ever thought you couldn’t have a shake for dinner? Now you can! With several flavors of tea and shakes, you’ll be energized in no time. Located near cactus, this place is impossible to miss. So whether you’re a fitness guru or just getting started, head over to Boiler Fit for a tasty and nutritious treat.

  1. Cosi

Get cozy with Cosi! From sandwiches, soups, flatbreads, salads, bowls, and pizza, Cosi is the go-to place for a fresh meal. With sandwiches like turkey avocado or ham and swiss on multigrain, you’re guaranteed to feel satisfied. Conveniently located across from Third Street Suites, Cosi is is a great place to munch in between classes or during a long day of studying.

  1. Chipotle

“OMG I love Chipotle, Chipotle is my liiiiiife”. This little kid from vine is truly our spirit animal. If kept in moderation, Chipotle can actually be good for you, you may just want to skip the rice (or maybe just ask for a little less). Fill your bowl with chicken, fajita veggies, tomato salsa, corn salsa and guac, and your bowl is roughly 500 calories. Spend your next study break or friday night dinner at Chipotle! Maybe even toss in some chips and guac, you’ve earned it. ​​​​​​​
